A headline about Audi bringing its TT RS with the 2.5L I-5 to the US made me think of how desperately Honda needs to take a little risk and produce another great sports car. The S2000 is a great platform with a good engine but if it stuck to the original SSM design study and used the 2.5L I-5 it would’ve been even better. Just imagine, a 300hp 2.5L VTEC engine revving to 9000rpm. Just wishful thinking but some manufacturers these days are actually making wishes come true.
