In our mission to JDM the 997 we installed a Worksbell Short Hub and Worksbell Rapfix II Quick Release with a little italian style for the steering wheel.
We felt like dropping 60 lbs with the seat was cheating so we decided some weight back in (kidding). The DAS roll bar added 45 lbs but the removal of the rear seats lost another 25 pounds netting a total savings of 40 lbs, not bad. The roll bar also added significant chassis rigidity and gave us a proper harness bar to mount some harnesses at a later time.
We installed the last new pair of Recaro RS-G ASM Limited Blue seats left worldwide in the Project 997. These are extremely rare seats with only 200 units produced and have been discontinued now. Mounted using genuine Recaro Japan seat rails designed specifically for the 997 and the RS-G. The RS-G ASM Limited seats are produced by Recaro Japan with an exclusive pattern and stitch color available only to ASM and Go Tuning Unlimited, the standard black/gray pattern is still available. Replacing the stock power seats saved a total of 60 lbs!
Here at Go Tuning Unlimited we’re constantly expanding our business and market reach. Our newest project car is a 997 Carrera S that will demo some of our exclusive brands and products.
